So, where does Google Chrome install itself?
In Windows XP Google Chrome will be installed in C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local SettingsApplication Data\GoogleChrome directory.
In Windows Vista Google Chrome will be installed in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\LocalGoogleChrome directory.
You may also replace C: with the drive windows it is installed in and UserName with the windows users you installed chrome with.
I am using Windows 7 (x64), Google Chrome is installed in:
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\
AppData is a normally hidden folder so you have tweak your windows explorer to browse the files. The probable reason of Google Chrome for installing it there is probably to allow each PC user to have independent control of their usage of the application. Chrome also does not provide any way to change the settings while you are installing the software. Whatever their reason for this we do hope it's for the advantage of Google Chrome users.
